Why does everyone hate demons? You aren’t doing anything..

I fear the answer is a lot more complicated than you might want it to be. It is much more than just hate. It's a complex issue that's been around for years.

To give people a common enemy to fight against to unify communities.

To place to blame on someone to avoid the real problem.

A feeling of superiority.

Disgust.

Ignorance that makes it seem like we're foul or vile.

Sometimes, there is no reason.

Do you think that someone who has done evil things can redeem themself?

That's a complicated question. Atonement: Yes, Redemption: Not so much.

If you've done bad, evil things, you have to put in the work to not only change your actions but to do good in the world and right the wrongs you've done if possible. But that doesn't mean people will forgive you or deem you worthy of redemption. The most you can do is atone.
