Second Thanksgiving in my first year but first Cambodian family Thanksgiving I went to! So many fabulous food! They all taste so good!!! Thanks to the family of Bong Chanty for inviting me over for the Thanksgiving gathering even though I am not a part of the family! Thanks for not only the invitation but also the pick-up and drop-off, the foods, the hospitalities, and the packed foods... I am so blessed and my heart felt so warm... Even when I'm so far from home... #recap of my first #pchumben outside of my home country with #cambodiancommunity in #victoria I guess I know better now how good it feel to have people from the same background around... I meant, I am fine on my own too, there's not a barrier which make my life complicated (aside from not having found a job) because I have almost no trouble communicating so nth much of a pressure but having people from a common background really does feel great; I guess it's because u can actually feel this sense of familiarities even if it's on ur first met, or maybe it just felt closest to home? Idk hahaha but everyone seems nice, I'm glad I didn't chickened out on the last minute like I did to literally everything else lol I'm glad that they are very welcomed towards a common background yet stranger like me. Also, there's me dressing crappy unfit for the event as always lol but we'll, I wouldnt be me if I dress differently, do I?
