I made this revision booklet for object oriented programming - it’s been incredibly helpful.

In the revision booklet, I’ve boiled my notes down to definitions, relationships, and important details.

You can see in the second picture the original vs. summarized comparison. I think the process of making it was just as helpful as the testing and referencing I’ve done since then.

The booklet is just flash cards taped together at the spine. The best part of this is that I can modify it easily, adding pages as I go. Sturdier than you might think!

01.06.18 // nervous.

First exam on Monday, and honestly I’m scared. It’s been two years since I last took exams, and I’m underprepared - it’s going to be fine, though. Keeping my chin up 🤞

I will be done with physics forever (!) in less than twenty-four hours - feels very strange to be dropping a subject I’ve studied for so long.

It’s probably the last one I’ll drop before I graduate.

06.06.19 // Central Cambridge + physics (yay.)

I’ve honestly neglected my physics paper this year, as it’s not essential to my (computer science) degree, and I haven’t had the energy to do all the work I wanted to do.

Paying for that, with only today and tomorrow to prepare for an exam on Saturday. Planning to brute force formulae, which I know isn’t great. Any tips?

02.06.19 // last day before exams

Only one day left, and feeling nervous. Focusing on core topics like functional and object oriented programming, in a last ditch effort to survive.

This little area of the college library is just two desks, surrounded by four walls of book cases. It’s my favourite place to study in the whole university (of where I have so far explored)

I call it the nook, but I’ve heard it described as the alcove, which is equally cosy 💙

Thank you! I’m hoping having it public will help hold me to it & I’m mainly planning on using it to see what kind of studying works for me because I’ve never really learned other languages before, so it’s the kind of learning style that I need to discover. Hopefully I’ll get something out of it lol
