[tanuki-kimono]

[Hanazono (flower garden)], modern kimono and matching obi by Furifu. Inspired by old school Western wallpapers, this design presents flowers easily found in Japan: tsubaki (camellia), kiku (chrysanthemum), kinmokusei (osmanthus), hasu (lotus), and botan (peony).

I am not for once too put off by the matchy-matchy kimono+obi which works well for this design. The contrasting obi below is a bit more balanced, but the other look is still quite pleasing to the eye!
