❤️what did you first think when you met s/i? how did you first meet?

The first time I saw Demi, it was at my roommate’s Halloween party. She was dancing with his ex girlfriend, which like, I don’t know why his ex got an invite, but she did, and that’s who Demi was with. She had on like, this crazy black shit all over her eyes, and huge eyelashes, which I thought was just for a costume, but she wears it all the time, which is cool. I didn’t talk to her that night and I was just like kicking myself because she was so cool and so pretty but like, I was too nervous.

And then like, a few days later, she showed up at our house in the morning. It was fucking terrible, I was in my pajamas and looked like total shit and she came over to meet with one of my roommates to work on the newspaper or some shit. She’s a writer. It’s cool. I thought she was the coolest, prettiest, smartest girl I’d ever met but like, her makeup made her look intimidating. I thought she might be like, mean or something. But then she introduced herself to me at my house and was so nice that I found myself signing on to take pictures for her upcoming article.

My roommate was pretty pissed, ‘cos he’d been tryna get me to take pictures for his paper for like months. Unfortunately for him, he’s not a beautiful girl, though, so….

💛what is your favourite quality about s/i? what drew you to them initially?

I like how fucking nice she is to me. Like she has every right to be mean as hell, ‘cos she’s gorgeous, but she’s never like that. Like you’d think she’d never go for a guy like me, but she like, actually really loves me, which is so amazing to me. She has like, just such a sensitive soul, even though she really tries to pretend that she’s tough. It’s just like the way that when she sees me her whole face changes. 

🩷what petnames do you have for s/i? what contact are they saved under in your phone?

Most of the time, she’s just Demi to me. Sometimes Demetria, ‘cos it feels so fancy to use, but usually just Demi. But like, you have to pronounce it right. It bugs her so much if you pronounce it wrong. One time I called her Dee and I think she tried to explode me with her mind ‘cos she fucking hates that, so sometimes I’ll call her that to fuck with her. It’s kind of a weird pet name, but I call her Killer a lot. Like as in “easy, Killer.” I think it’s cute ‘cos she really couldn’t hurt a fly but she gets intense about things sometimes. Her name in my phone is Dem🖤. Her job in my contact for her is girlfriend.

15. who convinces the other to do things using puppy-dog eyes?

gary will give me anything i want. i don’t even really have to pull out the puppy dog eyes, all i have to do is bat my eyelashes and say please and it’s already done before i even finish my sentence. he is transfixed and bewitched by my 20mm false lashes and he’ll go do something i could have easily done myself before he even has time to think about it or complain. he might complain after, but at that point, he already did it so like… okay? all i have to do is give him a little kissy and it fixes everything. he’s barely even that grumpy about it, he’s my yes man, but he won’t do things for anyone else like that, absolutely no way! 

16. who is more open with their feelings?

neither of us are good with feelings but both of us have big feelings. gary has never really been in a position where he can talk about his feelings, and he’s kind of trying to learn now? mostly because i told him that he has to because we’re both pretty sensitive people and we can accidentally hurt each other’s feelings. i’m not great at feelings, but i’m better at it than he is, so i actually get to help him talk out his feelings for the first time ever. it’s actually pretty sweet and it’s a nice bonding moment for both of us; i get to see him be vulnerable and he gets to see that being vulnerable with ur partner is a good thing!

17. who is the first to apologize after a fight?

we don’t fight very often, but we do bicker from time to time. however, when we bicker and feelings get hurt, it’s me, i fear. that’s my little guy, three apples tall only, i don’t want him to be mad at me. gary isn’t good at apologizing, but he is also super freaked out any time we argue because his beautiful wife is mad at him. Ls in the chat, everyone. he’ll try really hard to apologize, but like i said, feelings are hard for him and so are words sometimes, so a lot of times i get little gifts, like wildflowers in a beer can or a cool rock. one of our love languages as an autistic4autistic couple is pebbling, and the sentiment always wins me over. the pebbling is so sweet, it melts my heart. i usually just use my words and give a lil kissy and that works just fine also
