Confused about the real 28 lux vs the Leica Q? No budget but wants that Leica look? This is how it looks like on the M9. The size of the 28 lux is the max you should have on the body. It starts to tilt downward pulling the body. I held thr noctilux and I know Ill keep it in the cabinet. It is too heavy. Now finally I have a Leica 50, I understand now what they say about its built. My suggestions are -If you want to enter Leica for the first time and have the budget buy the q although believe me that youll be tempted to go the m way eventually. The q doesnt feel like the m. It is light. It feels more like a panasonic leica in my opinion. I say this in a good way because lugging around an m all day vs a q, youll surely feel the weight difference. AF helps a lot and being able to shoot MF when needed is very impt. -I have an #olympusem5 m1 and coming from an m body, the first thing I did was to buy a Leica designed panasonic made 25f1.4. After this, I bought the 15f1.7 and I know being a 28-50 prime user, it will fit me. If you dont have the budget, start with this and believe me, it is enough and it is a beauty to use. Used will cost you us $1000 only plus you have an option to buy the panasonic 100-400 leica designed for birding and sports.
