Being in a toxic relationship is like being on the beach with someone who doesn't like swimming. The limited depth you are able to get to is 20cm of salt water for toe dipping. Then sooner or later you would be drowned dry in boredom, without having set one foot to explore the deep blue sea just because you're restricted by the responsibilities for that individual.
