yall im so happy rn ive been stressing about scouts and reaching eagle in time pretty much since I joined and its been a lot worse this past month since I have all my star reqs signed off but my board of review and the merit badge one bc of that councilor not responding and with so much cancelled I was worried I wouldn't be able to get the four summer camp eagle badges I signed up for but I found a list of online summer camp stuff on my councils website and I went through 17 different councils and their online offerings before finding one that's offering 4 merit badges a week for $30 total and theres two weeks (june 14th-18 and june 21-25) so ill be getting 8 merit badges, 5 of which are eagle required, for $60 

this is amazing yall okay some of those councils were like 175 for 4 badges and 25 base with 30 per badge but there was the one that was 50 for 4 and that was cool but I could only get 3 eagle

im in a gc with my boss and a coworker and my boss asked us if anyone went to the zoom call the other night that the nav director was holding for anyone who wanted to talk about camp cancelled and stuff and i said “i didn't” and my boss said he wanted to know what happened like what people were doing ig bc he heard that some people were really upset and i said “i mean im really upset too but im too prideful to join a consoling call” and he goes “OH GOD YOU DEFINATELY WERE MY STAFF MEMEBER”
