i got to volunteer at my camp’s pumpkin smashing event today!! it was lovely.

i miss being there so much and i got to spend the day there helping out and making sure the kids had a good time.

i smell like a campfire.

i went to email my teachers and i saw an email about my camp forms being due (i never do the direct desposit but it still wants me to) and i cried

The fact that the saying I got on the back of my camp staff jumper is 'Swiftie' just says how much I talk about Taylor, and she hadn't even been doing anything 😂

i’ve been feeling so sad and so disconnected from the city I live in, and i have like 0 friends here since they’re all away at college. I’m honestly just waiting for the day i get to go home to the beautiful mountains

I really miss camp. You're working a job you love, and having fun and that's honestly what I live for. The summers with the girls from across the state who run to see there camp friends from previous years on check in days, and then cry when they leave there new friends they only met that week. That's why I work the entire summer. It's not working, it's changing the lives of so many children.
