Day 9 with the 2017 Oregon Girls Wrestling Cultural Exchange team in Canada! HRVHS Wreagles Emily, Christine, Anna, Elena & Grace! We're actually in the USA now. June 5th we spent the day in Great Falls, MT at University of Great Falls-Providence. We slept in the dorms and then started the day at the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, visited the shortest river in the world and the fish hatchery too. We then had a training session at the University with the new UGF-P Women's Wrestling Coach, Tony DeAnda. We then went to watch a triple A baseball game between the Great Falls Voyagers and the Missoula Osprey. They are treating us great here. Thanks to Coach Shaeffer and DeAmda for hosting us! Day 5 2017 Oregon Girls Wrestling Cultural Exchange team in Canada! 150th Canada Day celebration! We crossed into Alberta after a great experience in British Columbia. First so was Lake Louise...beautiful! Then we took the gondola up to the top of the Canadian Rockies in Banff...stunning! Drove through Calgary to Edmonton. Practiced with the Junior Team at University of Alberta. Then off to the West Edmonton Mall, the largest mall in North America. We rode the indoor roller coaster inside the mall called the MindBender. Finished a great day at Olive Garden! Thank you to Coach Owen Dawkins at U of A for being a great host in Edmonton!
