Campbell's Tasters: Creamy Parmesan Chicken, and Creamy Poblano Mac and Cheese.
As I posted before, I'm a Campbell's Taster, and this is the other dish I made that I love, that I wanted to share. Creamy Parmesan Chicken, from their skillet sauces, and Creamy Poblano Mac and Cheese, using their Latino Inspired Soups. So first, I put water on for my Elbow Macaroni noodles, I also chopped up some garlic cloves on the wonderful little cutting board that Campbell's sent me!
Now, on the instructions for the Skillet Sauce it says you're just supposed to put oil in a skillet and cook your chicken. You know me by now, I can't do that. I want flavor seared INSIDE and out. So I threw some Italian flavor cubes in there. If you don't have any, you can put butter, olive oil, LOTS of garlic, parsley, and some onion flakes. I also add a little red pepper for a kick. Oh, and garlic cloves, of course. Then you brown the chicken.
And yes, I know, I made a mess. Lol. I always do. I clean up after! I promise!
So, once that browns, you pour in the skillet sauce.
And let it cook for 5 minutes. It smells sooo delicious. Now, by this point my noodles were done, so they got strained, and I had already mixed up the condensed Creamy Poblano & Queso soup with some milk. I also added some seasonings. A bit of pepper, and garlic salt. I know, I love garlic. I can't help it. I mixed it up, and it turned out like this:
Juuuuust right!
And the full meal looked like this:
The chicken is wonderfully flavored, cheesy on the outside, buttery and garlicy on the inside. The mac and cheese is a little bit spicy, but wonderful. If you have a marinara sauce, you could put it with the chicken and easily turn it in to chicken parmesan. So good! I'd recommend Campbells 3 Cheese Sauce, myself, but I love cheese. :)
