Director Series: Camp PALS San Francisco
Morgan, Hannah, and Sara- as introduced by each other.
Sara introduced by Hannah:
"I am happy to introduce you to Sara Glass, one of the kindest, funniest, Canadians I know. Sara became an integral part of the Camp PALS family in 2010 at the Philadelphia location. She has since been a counselor at Camp PALS Philadelphia, Chicago, Princeton, and San Francisco. This will be Sara’s third year as a director at CPSF, and she she is beyond thrilled to be basking under the Bay Area sun with some of the greatest individuals that PALS brings together.
When Sara’s not busy studying at the University of Toronto, she may be found drinking an excessive amount of Diet Coke, Googling pictures of adorable puppies, and knitting. Following her graduation in May 2015, Sara will be moving back to the States (Philadelphia to be exact… yay!), and working for City Year- a branch of Americorps that helps children in low-income, high poverty areas.
Sara is the definition of a wonderful human being. Morgan and I are more than excited to have her as part of our 2015 director team!"
Hannah introduced by Morgan
"If Ellen DeGeneres, Tina Fey, and the happiest person you know all pooled their DNA and made a baby, Hannah Cunliffe would be that child’s role model. Put in other words, Hannah is the antidote to bad days and an ally to all. She has been a part of the Camp PALS family since 2009. She has a younger sister, Maggie, who has been a camper at Camp PALS since 2010, and who also has a better fashion sense than most people you look up to in a fashion sense.
When she’s not carefully hand-picking the most kindhearted and capable volunteers in the country, Hannah can be found consuming an unhealthy amount of coffee, watching endless reruns of Grey’s Anatomy, and spending time with her wonderful friends and family. She is currently in her final semester of college at West Chester University of Pennsylvania where she is studying Elementary and Special Education. Come March, she will be moving to Eleuthera, Bahamas for 2 months to finish up her special education student teaching.
Hannah is beyond excited to be returning back to CPSF for her second year as a director and we cannot wait to get this party started!"
Morgan introduced by Sara
"I have had the pleasure of knowing Morgan Williams since both of our first years at camp back in 2010. Our bond was instantaneous. For the past two years, Morgan acted as a director for Camp PALS Philly. Following his recent move to Palo Alto, California, he joined the CPSF director team.
Morgan has a wide range of skills and hobbies including but not limited to: the ability to soothe any soul with his ukulele skills, burrito eating, and the power to calm any puppy with the touch of a hand. He is the perfect partner for laying on a hammock, gazing at the stars, and pondering the wonderful world around us- including all of the beautiful people PALS has connected us to.
He brings a plethora of knowledge and experience and Hannah and I could not be more pumped to work with him!"
