I’m like helpless at eyeshadow so do you recommend any like easy starter things? I was looking into maybe just buying single shadows or a liquid shadow that I could pop on quick and easy? Thx for the help ❣️

This is gonna be long so..

Here’s the thing, buying singles eyeshadows are usually more expensive than getting a palette… 

ok, if you live in the US i really recommend Colourpop when you get more comfortable with makeup. They have so many palettes so when you get your tastes down they’re a great place to go for affordable and great shadows! They have these single shadows that are the only single shadows I would ever buy. They are this delicious soft powder putty-like formula that is so hard to explain but when you feel it you understand. 

if you have an Ulta by you, they might also have Colourpop in store. however, they are mostly online. Click here if you want to look into Colourpop palettes.

at the drugstore in the US, like CVS, i would recommend going to brands like Milani and Wet n Wild for shadows. m    m      m     nyx   

If these are not applicable to you, I just recommend you getting a small nudes palette to get comfortable with eye makeup then venture out! There are so many different little palettes from these brands to check out. Please look up reviews online before choosing!

Wet n wild has a great eye shadow primer, i’ve heard. I have not used it much personally, but it has great reviews from beauty vloggers and on the ulta website. It helps so much with getting shades to stay on and look good!

I dont love any liquid eyeshadows really, ive never had luck! but if you get good and want to start venturing into glitters, there are a lot of glitter eyeshadow toppers out there that will be great!

What do you think TS7 will be like?

i feel like taylors country influences are coming out in her lately so i still think it will be influenced by country both in writing style but perhaps also in production and vocals if we are lucky;  but have an air of pop and even indie to it. so, i’m not saying ‘like red’ because i would not expect the same thing twice, but i would say more ‘new sounds’ but still very taylor. obviously incredible storytelling and imagery. perhaps a left turn from the delicates and ciwyw’s and dress and dwoht on rep.  i have often thought she would gravitate towards a more singer songwriter approach one day.

I remember watching the scene in season 1 when jace and Alec are trying to track something with their hands clasped and Jace said something like “try harder” and I was like whoa rude chill

are you refering to the scene in 1.05 where jace and alec try to track clary and they fail and jace blames alec for her getting kidnapped (?) and tell’s him (and i quote) “maybe your mother is right and your best just isn’t good enough.”? (tho i thought it was “try harder” as well so maybe i’m getting scenes confused; also disclaimer: i don’t have the entirety of the show memorised i literally just skipped through like 4 episodes to find the scene bc i knew which one u meant and wanted to know the exact wording). 

tbh that scene comes to my mind as well when sombody’s claiming that jace is a good brother/friend/parabatai to alec like… are you… sure? jace telling alec he’s not good enough when that is something alec is insecure about already? and blaming him for things that aren’t his fault? it’s not exactly what i personally believe is a good trait in a friend but each their own.

and yes it could be argued that jace was just distressed over clary going missing but blaming your brother, somebody who always has your back and tries to help you, isn’t exactly the right thing to do. and please correct me if i’m wrong but i can’t remember an apology.

Yes it was that scene! And I think you’re right about the quote bc I remember it being a lot meaner than just “try harder” I remember watching it for the first time and being really taken aback by it. And yeah it’s definitely ridiculous to think Jace has ever been a great brother to Alec. Especially when you see all the times Alec’s risked or dropped everything to help jace and gets nothing (but cruelty) back. But idc if your publish the asks! Thanks for responding!!!

for my rep concert i really wanted something sparkly so i bought these black sequin jeggings that are supppppper cute but i cannot wear day to day. i got them from express! 

i also have these rhinestone cat ears i bought for a college radio music festival and i also love those as well.
