Todd and Cameron as senior year roommates is so interesting to me. Like maybe post loss of Neil and subsequent loss of Charlie they just let Cam and Todd stay in their half empty rooms for the spring semester.

but next year they decide it’s been long enough and both boys need roommates. The staff would naturally want to pair someone like Todd, who can be shy but has a history of acting out, with one of their top students (who is decidedly not shy and has never acted out)

But they don’t even realize that they’re pairing up Richard “forcibly removed from the groupchat” Cameron and Todd “got weird over the summer” Anderson. They don’t even know what they’ve done. And it is. So awkward.

Does Cameron start trying to sleep on the library couches? Does Todd kick his ass? Do they make up?

Cameron and Todd's flower is Alstroemerias! Aka the Peruvian Lily, aka lily of the Incas aka the Parrot Lily

These flowers represent friendship, love, strength and devotion along with "mutual support. And the ability to help each other through the trials and tribulations of life. So for this reason, they’re the perfect flower to say ‘I’ve got your back’ or ‘thank you for being my rock’." (from this website)

Which I think is a perfect encapsulation of their relationship. I think they two of them understand each other in a way that other people wouldn't be able to. At least in the beginning of the film they are both kind of quiet kids, but they are very comfortable with each other. They sit next to each other a lot and then there is the scene of Todd playfully messing with Cameron's hair. Which is why they have that deep connection of mutual understanding!

And the helping each other through the trials and tribulations of life....I image them post canon- after they talk and if Todd forgives him for what the Keating thing- I think they will stick together a lot more then they already did. They will make it through together.

When picking which colors of the flower I'd use for them I decided on white and pink! White Alstroemerias repersent symbolises love, strength, support and purity (they are also wedding flowers!) and pink represent romance and playfulness. The website from eariler describes it as "perfect flower to give when friendships turn to love". Which I think is a very soft and caring connection together which fits them very well.
