Myst and Tom on meeting Cam

Myst:

Love Squish (?) at first sight.

She literally saw this girl and fell head over heels in love.

“Tommy, she’s amazing!! I want to be friends with her!!”

She probably definitely came off as a bit too strong and forceful when she first talked to Cam? Her ‘my paced’ attitude took over as she dragged Cam around.

Knowing Cam didn’t hate her made her feel giddy and when Cam actually said she liked her, Myst screamed into her pillow from joy.

She nearly died the first time Cam called her her best friend and couldn’t stop grinning for the whole day.

Tom:

Decides that she seems to be a nice girl and that he wouldn’t mind (and probably would enjoy) spending time with her.

Completely understands Myst’s squish because Cam is brilliant.

Kind of gets dragged to spend time with Myst and Cam during Myst’s ‘lets be friends’ campaign. He doesn’t really mind, he enjoyed the time spent in their adventures.

During one of them Cam gave him the most beautiful smile and Tom knew he was f*cked.

If nothing else, he knew himself well enough to know that he was going to fall for her at some point.

He ignored that knowledge and just went with the flow,spending time with Cam and letting their friendship grow.

So really when Cam turned to him and smiled, and his heart skipped a beat, he wasn’t at all surprised.

Wonderland AU - CaMyst life before wonderland

Cam came to Wonderland while running away from being roped into a ‘proper’ life. Responsibilities she doesn’t want and a guy proposing. When she sees Vitto she wonders what he’s doing and is curious and follows him down the rabbit hole

Myst was wondering about when she was trying to forget and also to ignore her own responsibilities and everything she’s going to have to do alone. She finds a rabbit hole and falls in.

Myst had nothing left for her in her world except a bunch of bills and responsibilities she never wanted. Her father had just died and it was after his funeral that she found the rabbit hole.

When they find a way back, Myst stays. She had gotten attached to the world and she’s talked about it with Tom and he offered her a place to stay and a job at the library if she made the decision to not go back to her world

Cam goes back but remembers just how horrible her world is.

She was fine for a bit but was deemed too independent and imaginative and her reactions to things are just too strange for her time since she’s been spending time with someone from another time and people who are just different.

She ends up being put in a mental home thing and finds her way back to wonderland through a mirror.

She never looks back.
