Noah’s performance in s2 gives me goosebumps just to think about, the talk after he gets possessed? WOW, how he switches from will to the mind flayer not only with his eyes but his voice being a little more pitched? DAMN, what to talk about the shed/the exorcism scenes?? that boy eat and left no crumbs, it kinda bothers me how he carried s2 and then I was kinda hopping to see more of him in st3 and they gave him barely nothing but touching his neck??

I agree Anon! Noah did his thing in s2. I think they barely gave us any Will/Noah scenes in s3 cuz

A) the cast kept getting bigger

B) They wanted ST to start and end with Will so what happens in-between could be whatever as long as Will is completing the cycle from beginning to end and

C) the seasons were told through Mike and Will's interchangeable POVs. S1/2 was Mike and his feelings for Will (El complicating things to make the love triangle) and S3/4 was Will feeling left out and being self sacrificial

To me s3 foreshadowed how everyone easily forgot the pain Will went through and only when he was gone from Hawkins did they (Mike) feel his giant absence. Every time Will isn't a constant present, the Party is literally fractured. It happened in s1 when Lucas and Mike got to fighting. It happened in s3 when Dustin wasn't with the Party for almost the entire season. It happened again in s4 when the Party split into different high school cliques (Hellfire, basketball team, Max's isolation).

tbh the duffers not realising noah can act while filming s1 just shows that they didn’t have their hearts ripped into shreds by his shaky rendition of should i stay or should i go. and honestly? can’t relate.

about the other ask about acting, speaking about noah i feel like people that claim he's not a great actor probably don't know how he is in real life, like what do you mean the boy that plays will byers is the utter opposite and you dont even question cause it feels so genuine and glorious, its even like will is real and not just an actor doing his job, that boy does wonders, it actually baffes me he is not flodded with projets by now tbh

Yeah Anon, a lot of people don't know that Noah and Will are very different. He's so cheery irl and then he can just switch to this tragic character so naturally. Noah said he did a lot of indie films and I know he did that movie with Adam Sandler.

I see Noah doing more commercials/promos though than movies.
