Weird and random, but my inspiration for that scene came from the Bible (don't worry, I'm not going all religious on you, just explaining my source) After Jesus is arrested and before He is crucified, the guards beat him up in a variety of ways, including this guessing game.
Not trying to draw a parallel between Jesus and Jay or putting religion into OWIAIT or anything like that! I just didn't have very many torture ideas, and this one happened to present itself and I decided to seize upon it XD Turns out I'm not very creative when it comes to physically hurting my characters...
