CANADA TOUR : DAY III - 26 SEPTEMBER 2016
On their third day in Canada, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Bella Bella rainforest in British Columbia.
Upon arrival they were given a traditional welcome by the Heiltsuk First Nation Community. During the ceremony they recieved 'dancing vests' and gifts for Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
William and Catherine then walked to Elders Lodge where the latter delivered a speech to mark the dedication of the Great Bear Rainforest as part of Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy initiative.
They concluded their visit to Bella Bella by unveiling a plaque to commemorate their visit.
Later in the evening, they attended a reception at Government House in Victoria, hosted by the Province of British Columbia, before which they joined guests including First Nations representatives for a reconciliation ceremony between indigenous people and the government.
