Yesterday was a perfect #Chester day! We were up early and out for a walk to watch the fog bank lift to pristine blue skies. My garden helper ( or should I say garden sage- he actually knows what he’s doing) came by to work with me cutting new beds, trimming bushes and planting roses,. Maude and I made friends with a baby squirrel ( I’ll live to regret that- it now follows me around) Then my lifelong friend @etlca called just as I was cleaning up from 8 hours of gardening to invite down to his new and very much needed in the community restaurant @sunroomchester where a neighbour and I were absolutely tantalized by the light, fresh and satisfying new menu created by the chef. I’ve only posted a few of the things I tried but each and every one was yummy. If you only try one thing ( you won’t be able to stop at one thing) you have to have the crispy asparagus. OMG.
