I was lucky to get any photos of this lighthouse in 2021… Heavy fog cancelled the first boat trip out here and I managed to get the last spot the next day. This island is the only land dispute between Canada and the US. The lighthouse on Machias Seal Island. I was lucky for a few reasons - the boat ride was about 2 hours to get there, and had 15 minutes on the island. There was a heat wave this day which resulted in heavy fog. I did not think I would get to see anything...

I've seen this lighthouse from afar few times but never gave it much thought. The last trip to Campobello I decided to get out the long lens and check it out. Lubec channel lighthouse sits out there by itself on the US side. Super interesting...
