Break is over :(
Alas, holidays can never last long enough. Tomorrow the school term begins again. Yay....
It's been an amazing holiday! Got to experience a slice of Australia for a week and then a relaxing couple of days back in Melbourne. I can't wait until my next holiday so I can explore more of this paradise down under.
The last couple of days after I came back from the coast was spent making new friends :) Found a new batch of Canadian teachers.. of course lol I have yet to make some local friends -- it's hard to do when A. it's easier to make Canadian friends because everyone's coming down here B. hard to make friends with people when you meet them at a bar because let's face it, men at a bar don't want to be pals when you've got a boyfriend and girls don't naturally gravitate to you. C. maybe I'm just not cool enough
S'all good though! Taking it day by day and meeting cool people, even if they are Canadian! Nothing wrong with that :P Met a new guy named Lancey who is hilarious. He was dipping it low and bringing it up slow all night long Saturday at Randy Dragon. It was jokes watching him dance up on the straight guys. Man he kills me! Love it :) Watch out ladies, because he can shake it like a saltshaker!
Next weekend we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving. A bunch of us Canadians are getting together and doing a potluck turkey dinner! Yay! It's going to be so much fun, I can't wait!
I really don't want to go back to work :( Sigh but I need them monies! Two and half more months until next holiday! Man that's long :'(
