Top 5 Elizabeth Weir moments?
New order - She just ... decided to become a system lord literally two seconds after finding out what the system lords were?? I fell in love immediately. The literal embodiment of bde.
The seige - she walked into the genii homeworld - alone an unarmed, was taken hostage, yelled at them and they just gave her a nuclear weapon!!!
All of before I sleep - she gave up her entire life so that the Atlantis expedition could succeed. "I have years ahead of me still" I will never ever forgive Mallozzi.
The real world - the whole episode. But in particular, the scene where she decided not to take the pills and flushing them away because she could hear John telling her to fight against the nanties.
Rising while they are in Antarctica - I know there are more badass moments in the show, but seeing Elizabeth walking around all the technology and talking to the scientists and just being so enthused by their enthusiasm?? In awe of the ancient technology. Being happy and unburdened by the worry of the wraith, happy to just be in charge of scientists doing science things?? So beautiful.
Not to interrupt your busy life as a fandom legend, but “Wraith skin condoms”? I have to know, and also think this might be a price candidate for “mylittleredgirl recounts fandom history” (and usually makes me cry with laughter while doing so).
Oh man, I gotta turn this one over to someone else ( @bitchwhoyoukiddin ?) because you better believe I have BLOCKED THAT SHIT from my memory, but let me try to recreate it. Pretty sure it started with the ongoing limited condom supply conversation (clearly THE MOST pressing issue for the Atlantis expedition to solve) and then someone was like “back in the day people used animal skins” and then SOME SICK MOTHERFUCKER brought up wraith-skin condoms and I scrolled through the yahoo group posts on this real fast with my hands over my eyes so I’m not sure if this was a practical use-every-piece-of-the-wraith-we’re-goddamn-pioneers type idea like “Wraith skin looks paper-thin but they’re endlessly old so that skin’s gotta stand up to some hot pounding right” or the debate of “so like... life-sucking is probably spermicidal yeah?” or all-around “which of these dudes is the first one to get horny enough to roll that onto his dick” type shenanigans but EITHER WAY, i am OPPOSED

Your SG-1 gifsets are absolutely gorgeous -- thank you for sharing them!
Thank you so much! :) I really enjoy making them!
I also take requests! If you have any specific moments in mind, let me know.
Oh that’s awesome! I kind of assumed you were going to say a tv show which I’m not really looking for at the moment, but I feel like I would love a pod with his snark. I’m so glad I asked.
Yessss listen and tell me what you think!! Tbh I haven't caught up with Attitudes in a while, but Ask Ronna is a must for me every week. It's an advice podcast and not just very funny but oftentimes also very sincere. I recommend starting from the beginning bc a lot of the in-jokes later on will make more sense, but really you could start with any of them especially if you see there's one with a guest you like.
For a second I was really excited thinking you also watch 911, but alas. Where do you know him from? He is a gem in 911 but he does have a pretty small part.
Lol sorry to disappoint! I've been a fan of him for probably like a decade at this point thanks to his podcast Attitudes (formerly known as Throwing Shade). More recently I've been a huge fan of his other, newer podcast, Ask Ronna with Ronna and Bryan. He co-hosts both of them with amazing female comics, too. If you haven't listened to either of them - he's fucking hilarious, I highly recommend!
