So chuffed to be part of this exhibition at GOST @galleryofsmallthingscbr in Canberra. Each artist is responding to the idea of ‘hope’. My pieces spoke to the regenerative time I spend walking in the bush on Darkinjung country. Using my fingers, I’ve created indents and impressions on the clay walls, reminiscent of the diverse range of banksia species I find on my walks. I'm so fascinated by these pods; their different stages of growth, their slit-like eyes, and knobbly structures.
