AUGUST UPDATE

Hi everyone! With so many folks away on holidays, and an event clash at our hall on one weekend, I’ve decided to suspend classes through August; this means there will be no Lindy Hop or Solo Jazz classes this month. I will however be keeping our Sunday Jam social/practice session on the fourth Sunday, 23rd August, 5.30pm-8.30pm, so we can get together and refresh our skills before classes…

Very sorry folks but due to continued ill health (this cold is kicking my b*tt) and ongoing roofing issues Jazz class on Monday 7 October is sadly cancelled. It was probably very optimistic of me to think I could do the class but I do hate to cancel them. Big apologies for the late notice in making the call. 🤧🤒😢

My daughter school has a positive case of the coronavirus

Well our governor tweeted:

Starting March 19, @CUNY and @SUNY will move to a distance-learning model for the rest of the semester.This will help us reduce density and reduce the spread of this virus. #COVID19

My daughter goes to a SUNY school in Albany and starts her spring break on Monday March 16. She won’t be coming back to classes.

Mon 9/3: Jazz class cancelled

Please spread the word.!!

I’ve just discovered that the dates I’d be given for the night shelter starting were wrong and it will be there from Mon 9/3 (not Thurs 12/3) therefore tonight.

I will advise as soon as I have an alternate plan in place.

Sadly this means I am unable to run classes this evening.

I’m so sorry for the short notice.
