liana's grandmother marie was cancelled back in the 70s for constant drug use, her hyper-sexuality, and all around lack of professionalism. though her parents keep the details of marie’s past a secret from young liana, she is consistently seeing the beauty and freedom of hollywood all over her screen. she is raised to hate the cancellation process and everything about prometheus productions. but of course, when you tell a a child not to do something, it’s frequent that they follow the opposite path. and at a very young age, liana becomes obsessed and is the first of her family to desperately want to step into the limelight.

at age ten, she begs her parents to audition for a new children's tv show on the rise. her mother jumped into overdrive, rambling about how horrible the system is, how her own mother’s life was ruined and taken over minuscule issues. but despite his wife’s wishes, and his mother in law’s fate, liana’s father can’t say no. he attempts to throw her into the ring to see which sharks bite, when unfortunately, she's left hanging out to dry. liana’s confidence is shattered, her relationship with her father weakens, and she's left to find herself once more with a looming hatred floating over her head.

fourteen years and a few devastating accidents later, liana finds herself back in hollywood chomping at the chance to finally sign a contract and beat the system. she knows that her past and familial ties will affect her point count, but she is excited to work ten times harder to achieve what her grandmother couldn't.

Hello! The name’s Lukas (he/him; GMT+2) and here I bring ma boy Magnus, the therapist you may and may not want to pour your heart out to. His biography can be found here and here are the stats. Born on December 26, 1965. The first child of Cathrine (forensic scientist) and Finn (psychology professor); three years later his younger brother Kevin was born.

He had a calm childhood, was a good student and all that jazz. When he was fifteen, they moved to the United States where his parents had better prospects career-wise. Well, did that make him anxious af. That’s when he started writing in his journal to let out whatever he was keeping inside. Later he started writing in general and hoped to publish his works one day. His wings were clipped by his father, who told him it wasn’t the right way to go. And he convinced Magnus, who gave in and started studying psychology after high school.

College was a fun time. He got so immersed in all kinds of socializing that he almost forgot that he was supposed to, like, ya know, pass exams and stuff. But he got it together and got that diploma.

His father got him the job and for some time he was getting side-eyes for having it easy, but eventually he made a name for himself as a respected therapist, so all was cool. Usually his patients were celebs and other rich peeps, this way he was prepared for working for Prometheus.

Before they even contacted him, Magnus was really at his peak. He sort of joined the upper crust himself, though he never chased specifically after fame. Some praise and money here and there was enough. As he was basking in the limelight, his wife (with whom he has a daughter) found out that he wasn’t the most faithful hubby. After nineteen years of marriage they divorced.

Oh, you may want to know what’s up with his brother. Life wasn’t as prosperous for him; Kevin started mingling with the wrong crowd and for the last decade he’s been chillin’ in prison for drug trafficking. Yeah, Magnus is haughty enough to say he doesn’t have a brother.

During his first years as a therapist he actually cared about what his patients had to say, but for a while now he’s been just... the epitome of this meme, really.

Fun fact: he hates when his name gets shortened because he likes the ‘mighty’ sound of Magnus, so I’m not telling somebody should try his patience with that one, but that’s exactly what I’m saying.

Her parents love her. They really do. But the drugs make their hands shake and their ears ring with her cries, until they can’t bring themselves to care, can’t drag themselves to her crib more than a few times a day to just barely feed her and change her dirty diapers. Well, really, it was her mother doing the caring, singing sweetly to her baby girl while her boyfriend fucked off who knows where.

They keep their shit together just long enough for Savannah to remember them. A few days before her fifth birthday, there was a knock on the door. Now, this was unusual in itself — their house was on the bad side of Chicago. They didn’t get many visitors. What was even stranger was the person who walked through the door, so at odds with the grimy carpet and peeling wallpaper was she, what with her little black pumps and perfect blonde curls.

She took Savannah away that day, deemed her parents irresponsible and neglectful. She celebrated her fifth birthday in a strange room in a strange house with strange people who called her Savy and pet her like a dog. Looking back now, she’s lost count of how many bedrooms she had. How many schools, how many homes, how many parents. She doesn’t remember their names. There was the nice lady with the bad breath and the mean daughter. The angry man who hated her just for existing. The pair with the priceless china collection she stole and sold to pay for her first guitar.

Through it all, the good homes she ruined and the bad homes she endured, music was her escape. All the money she earned was funnelled into her growing collection of old records, the maintenance of her record player, her walkman, and, eventually, her iPods. It was all she cared about; from the moment she could sing, she did. She wrote shitty songs in a moleskin journal then tore them up, she performed at coffee shops and talent shows and filmed videos for Youtube. The only time she felt real was on stage, like she could really be a whole person.

And then there was Evan. She was 17. He was 22. He wasn’t the first older man she’d been with. But he was the nicest, and the most successful. He had pull in the music industry, and, for some reason, took a liking to her. It wasn’t hard to pretend to love him, to wrap him around her finger with false innocence and a bit of tongue in the bar bathroom. She ran away from her foster home, moved into his fancy apartment downtown, began meeting with producers and agents. He helps her produce a demo, get her a record deal. Hell, maybe, after all was said and done, she did actually love him, just a little. It sure as shit hurt when he dumped her, cut off all contact, changed the lock to his apartment and changed his number. She was 18, then, and no longer qualified for foster care. And even though she had a record deal, she had yet to release anything, to make any money.

She’s the one to reach out to Prometheus. The plan is simple: put the music on the back burner and turn to acting — how hard could it be? Earn fame, money, whatever it took to win back her freedom, and then she could focus on her music career. Simple. How hard could it be for a girl who’d grown up alone? Beaten and bruised? Neglected before she even knew how to ask for help?

Well, it’s been five years and she’s still here.

Hi! My name is Aslee, and this is my girl Annissa. She’s 35, bisexual, and a consummate liar.

She's been on Broadway since she was a teenager, learning the stage before she learned to drive. It's in her blood-- Her family never forced her into it, but she grew up watching her parents perform, and something about it felt like a duty meant to be inherited. Someone needed to value art above money and fame, because that was the only thing that kept companies like Prometheus Productions from devouring the entire entertainment industry. 

No matter how much she gave of herself, Annissa was never the star. No, that honour fell to her best friend, Ginny,  time and again. Soon enough, they were a matched pair-- Veronica Sawyer and Heather McNamara, Cosette and Eponine, Elphaba and Nessa. Ginny the prodigy, shining and brilliant, and Annissa-- The character actress. She didn't resent her role as Ginny's shadow. If anything, she flourished in it. She found her characters comfortable, their faded spotlight a little more relatable than the big, unreasonable personalities Ginny portrayed. 

They spent nearly twenty years together, until one day, Hollywood came calling. Not for Annissa, but for Ginny-- Annissa begged her not to sign her soul away, and everything ended in a terrible argument. Ginny said Annissa was being jealous, while Annissa maintained that Ginny was going against everything they had ever worked for. 

In the end, Ginny signed the contract, and flew across the country to make her big debut in selling their craft wholesale. Months flew by, the film slowly going through the production process, and Annissa ignored Ginny's calls. By the time the film debuted, the calls were growing in number. Annissa listened to the desperate voice mails as she read the reviews, horror dawning. But it was too late, especially for Ginny. 

They'd made her a message, Annissa figured-- A call to the last bastions of Broadway, letting them know that they weren't as talented or powerful as they liked to think they were. They had set her up to take the fall, and now… 

They cancelled Ginny on a November afternoon. It didn't rain. 

Which was a shame, because that really would have helped put out the fire when Annissa burned their apartment down. 

The days and weeks afterwards after were some of the best performances of Annissa's life. For her friends and family, she was the grieving best friend. For the cops, she was a dazed creature, too fragile to bring back to reality. For the cameras, she was a victim: A victim of Ginny's failure, of Annissa's own shock, of a freak accident caused by a dropped candle and a badly timed news broadcast. 

Annissa barely had time to sort through her real emotions amidst the lies. At first, she was distraught-- She had never meant to survive the fire. But as the months dragged Ariel through her own bitterness, she began to see the upsides of surviving. It would be a waste, she thought, to die so simply. 

After all, Ginny had been a warning. "If even she cannot do it, how can you hope to defeat us?" Well. Annissa had never dared to be better than Ginny, but that only left one option: If you can't beat them, join them. 

Annissa got out of bed. 

It wasn't easy, but spite drove her. They had taken away the most important person in her life twice over, now. Not just Prometheus, but their hordes of fans, foaming at the mouth-- They were the ones who allowed this monstrosity to be born in the first place. They loved, fickle and quick, throwing away their toys when they were done with them-- Well, it was about time they lost something they loved, Annissa decided. 

She would just have to make them love her.

         Taliesin Collier grew up acting, his parents both heavily involved in local theatre, he found his place in the National Youth Theatre of Wales, before moving to London with A-Levels in Sociology, English, and Drama. The beginning of his adult career was spent on stage, performing in Europe. It was only a matter of time before he set his sights on Hollywood. A longing to make it big, to be seen.

         The young man from Wales wasn’t exactly Hollywood’s standard for popularity, an easy target. Though he managed to surprise them when his points climbed. Taliesin had a talent, disappearing into the characters he played, until it seemed he had almost become them. He loved his work, and it showed in every film he was cast in. But time changes things, the passion he had for acting was burnt out, smothered by time, a desperate need to take a break from becoming someone else, mixed with the contractual obligation to work. So Tal found his escape the only way he could, he went to television with one goal in mind : keep his points up.

         Taliesin spends is days questioning the actors of upcoming films, predicting the ever rising and falling numbers of popularity and trying to protect his own.
