In June 2015 I was suddenly thrust into this “world of cancer” and found myself completely consumed by fear. My life would never be the same. When you experience something so life-changing, you tend to be more in tune with your Higher Self. Although exceptionally challenging and life-changing, cancer has been my greatest catalyst, as I believe that adversities are opportunities for personal growth. One of the biggest things that you will need to do right now, at the very start of any journey, is to make up your mind to really give this all you've got. Do everything in your power to fight. No exceptions. Nothing halfway. Nothing for the sake of ease or convenience or fear. I've been through the "cut, poison, burn" phases of treatment and welcome each one with no fear, as I'm grateful everyday to have access to a top 10 cancer hospitals, the best doctors and modern medicine technology. The right picture shows my first chemo treatment. I had 11 total. And to the right is the CyberKnife, a machine which delivers beams of high dose radiation to tumors with extreme accuracy.
