Anyway I spent 10 minutes tracking this song down bc I heard the hook somewhere else today. I didn’t know that You Got the Love sampled Frankie Knuckles’ Your Love (of which there’s a couple of versions too). And it was maddening bc it’s like trying to find a song and when you speak all that comes out is Vanilla Ice trying to explain how his beat is different that Queen’s and David Bowie.
