I'm sooo sorry for your loss. I've only caught parts of what's been going on with sporadic tumbling, but I hope the funeral was alright as a funeral can be, and that you're doing okay. *hug*

general opinions: oh god so much love. legolas was my first love, my first crush, he’s just so great. I feel like his character had some potential to grow and change but honestly he just cares so much about middle earth and he just wants to protect and love his friends. how could you not love that adorable elf?

I read the Eredhon/Thranduil pt1 thing and I hope candiedrobot​ doesn’t mind me jumping in

the way I see it there are two ways this could possibly go down

1) (the less interesting one) thran is just ‘aw HELL no’ and shuts it down but can’t quite bring himself to actually punish ‘Red, bc his wife was actually quite fond of the lil fucker when he was a baby and he’ll never get over that

OR

2) Thran is all for it but when they get into bed it gets really awkward when they realize they’re both the bottomest bottoms to ever bottom and this simply Will Not Work. but hey you’re my king and you’re a member of my royal guard and we’ve seen each other naked and I really don’t want to think about this right now so I guess it’s time to get wasted and bitch about how possessive dwarves are (and if one of them is talking about precious jewels and the other of a certain bowman’s daughter, that’s just semantics)
