Gift for @mosserole of Lumienne, from her book The Candlelighter!
I pondered how my other characters would fair in doltown since their personalities are so vastly different from Ferdinand's. Ferdie's my ray of sunshine while my other main characters are... less so. (except maybe Gally when he's sharing his special interest) I gave them all DoL titles for laughs.
Ferdinand the Fisher: Always able to perservere with joy and gratitude despite his traumas! My catboy son. Doltown resident.
Wren the Toad Witch: Ball of rage who only likes his toad familiar. Would do TERRIBLY in doltown. Would carry so much pepperspray. He'd fight and pepperspray everyone and run from the cops (after also pepperspraying them). Note: He's not related to Wren the Smuggler, just shares a name.
Lumienne the Candlelighter: Does not want to be bothered. Gets bothered anyway. Would probably seek refuge in the temple and would be more or less achieving the unbothered life.
Little Demon the Dying: Technically not the main character, but is the pivotal character of his story. He's mortally injured. His main goal is bearing children so I guess... problem solved? So long as he doesn't die first? Maybe the eldrich horrors can preserve his life. If so, he would be perpetually pregnant.
Gally the Dragon Zealot Expert: Charismatic but obnoxiously arrogant. Is very intelligent and skilled. Would solve all the mysteries and problems of doltown without meaning to. Then the town would accidentally blow up. No more Doltown. Oops.

The problem with fancy boxes is it's very tempting to keep the box.
This gadget makes a small arc to light candles.
Usually I'm no firebug, but it's incredibly tempting to stick things between the prongs
I've finally gotten to the part of the story where Lumienne and Scarlet are officially together in person! No more prison bars, distance, or errands keeping them apart. Together forever ❤️
I find it extremely hilarious to describe my books from a 1⭐ reviewer perspective, sans all plot and context.
If you were to observe the adventure group in Candlelighter through a silent cctv screen you'd just see them meandering around ruins, making each other cry.
Lumienne started their journey wanting a boyfriend and if a promising candidate shows up who wants to kill your entire company and destroy the city they're trying to save... Well, those are just minor issues, really. Whether the world is ending or not, Lumienne stays focused on their priorities.
