Wondering about the designer of our new logo? Cassie Morrison (@justcassiehere)  is a UI/UX designer, currently with a company designing app interfaces. She’s a thinker and planner in day to day life, so her art (and tumblr) is used to stretch her creative muscles - there are less restrictions so she can relax.

But we should let Cassie speak for herself! My name is Cassie and I live in Dundee, Scotland. I love to read a lot, to the extent where I decided to spend my final honours year at University designing an interactive system for bookstores to help keep them sustainable and current. I collect pinecones from different places I visit and I have a scrapbook of collected cinema tickets too. My dad lives in New Zealand, so I've visited a few times and went on a 10 day camper van road trip round the South Island in October last year. That was my highlight of 2015! :)

FANDLES! It’s our new candle (logo)!

It’s been so incredible seeing all of your wonderful designs come through, and it was very tough to decide what the new logo would look like. Thank you to everyone who entered.

We now have a new logo, and Cassie Morrison (@justcassiehere) to thank! We chose this design as we enjoyed the development away from the candle, while still maintaining some of the aesthetic of our original design (by Elsie Bollinger). And we really love the lettering! 

We’ll be posting a short bio about her tomorrow with some of her other art, so make sure you keep an eye out for that because she’s wicked cool.

Yep, we’re currently in conversation with the winner of #candlesbyfandles and we’re hoping to announce the winner and the new logo on Friday. my entry for the candle wasters logo contest :)

one for large things/shirts/etc and a square icon version for twitter or other profiles. (black on white versions are transparent.) these are vectors and can be resized however and made any color(s). the colors here are just an example; personally, I prefer the b&w version but wanted to show that it is easily customized.

Dear @thecandlewasters a few things you should know:I can change the color of the letters, I can change the color of the background(even transparent if you so wish), I will willingly and free of charge add wax drops with future projects if you so wish.
