      The day was bright and a little chilly but it was still pretty! Neo wanted him to see the sunrise before he had to follow Junior on whatever they were doing at the docks. She giggled softly, poking the teen’s ginger locks as she did until he finally growled out a reply. Grinning in victory, she rolled off him, tiny feet already scurrying towards his closet to set his clothes on the chair nearby. Today was the day! She was so excited! She’d finally get to find out what this big secret of his was.

How long has it been since the fall? Days? Weeks? Who could tell? With much of what needed to be restored, the blonde huntress did not have the concept of time in her mind. Eat, sleep and repair were the only things she did since the aftermath of the fall. 

Much of the grimm that invaded Vale has been exterminated with the help of Glynda and some of Vale’s huntsmen and huntresses.All of them worked by the clock to bring Vale back to its former glory but-- there’s only so much a huntress could take before losing something in her.

Her spirit.

Glynda felt like a robot at this point. She lacked emotion when she was alone and only interacted when someone else was in danger or in turmoil. Once left to her own accord, she does not speak to anyone-- not even her fellow professors. They thought that it’d be best she was left alone because they knew... she was also grieving the loss of the headmaster.

Most of the time, when taking a break, she’d just be at the very top of Vale’s broken CCT tower, sitting on a couch, sipping tea and just looking at the view from the top. The colorful view was gone, it was just left with a grey-ish landscape.

"Hmph!" Weiss coughed from the cigar smoke floating into her face. Without missing a beat, indignantly, she tugged her hand away. Yet still kept her pace with him.

"I can perfectly see why she would." But fortunately for you, I am not Winter. "What was General Ironwood thinking? I am perfectly fine without a chaperone."

"Get off me!" Mercury swung. He had woken up from a nightmare. Rationally, he knew it wasn't Marcus, but his emotions were in overdrive and he didn't want to be touched. It was too much.

"Just, stay over there. I'm fine. It's fine,"

Roman lights another cigar. His fourth, in the past hour. A simple sign he was stressed, to someone who knew him as long as Neo did. Another sign was how he comes to a halt and stares at her, brow furrowed. Then, he signs in return.

<I can’t just tell her NO> 

<I’ve seen what she can do>

 <And there are things I can’t afford to lose, Neo>

   That wasn’t good enough.

 In an instant she was jumping down the staircase above him and landing gracefully before her partner, her mismatch gaze turning into a furious glare as she looked up to him. It was very VERY hard to get her legit pissed off but when you did...you were in trouble. 

‘You should have never said yes.’ Came her seething sign back, ignoring the way their lackies were lowkey watching their silent argument.

‘We were suppose to be a team Roman, but you made this deal without me.’ Neo gritted her teeth as if wanting to snarl the words right out.

‘We should have never put ourselves in this situation YOU put us in.’
