He knew - or rather, he had a feeling. The lengths she would go to ensure his safety, her comments about how cigars were bad for his health when Neo didn’t know that he didn’t actually smoke them. Roman never knew someone who loved him before, so he had no way to compare, but that seemed like love to him.

[ Feels nice to have it out there. ]

    ‘Wish you had told me sooner, idiot.’ Neo signed with a huff but the affectionate smile that bloomed made it obvious she was far from mad at him. She had been his the moment she tried to steal everything on his person and in all honestly she wasn’t all that surprised. Still he was right. It felt good to say it out loud.

‘I’ve always been yours Roman.’

“Dunno.” Is the initial response; embarrassment found in the realization that he admitted, clear as day, that he has no idea where they’re going. Thus, with a quick clearing of his throat and an even quicker glance at the map, he adds on, “Just…a bit further. I think. It looks like it.”

Jaune sighs and glances at the smaller of the two with a single brow raised.

“Hey…you mind if I ask you something?”

      Neo rolled her eyes but gave a shrug in response. She’d follow him wherever they went if only to keep him from accidently getting killed. Following him, she ventured to look his way, giving a hesitant nod at his questioning. Twirling her parasol she stopped in front of him, waiting with a curious mismatched gaze. He wasn’t one to ponder that much on his new companion so this would be interesting.
