the op of this tweet is right. i suppose most shippers enjoy making these things about jealousy to validate a romantic nature between the ship - something nonplatonic. but even jealousy between friends can be a thing so it doesn't always work. but i digress. the reason i bother to pick up on this is because it demonstrates the questions i used to get about yuta's jealousy and mark's jealousy in the past. i always said yuta is more possessive than jealous (gets bothered when people touch mark or do things for him rather than seeing him interact with others) whereas mark is the one that is actually jealous (gets bothered when he sees yuta interact sometimes with others when it feels it should be him [the yuxiao viral content]), which comes from a place of insecurity (unsettled when yuta doesn't answer his call while he is in japan, etc)

here, yuta is completely unbothered by the way mark interacts with renjun. he's happy even, mouthing "good" and nodding and smiling. he is always encouraging mark to be more confident and do good things - and that's what love is. wanting to see your partner grow and be happy and comfortable in themselves.
