I've just discovered that the lyrics to Brutal by olivia Rodrigo fit perfectly with teenage Broke Boys Katsuki and now can't stop imagining him as an adult belting out that song to vent his anger over how he was treated as a teen

Okay so I've been listening to this song on repeat since last night. And I mean,,, YEAH. Poor Katsuki had a seriously rough time in HS at UA, and if given the chance he would absolutely belt this song at the top of his lungs. If I had any skills related to animating at all I would make a HS fail reel animatic to this song featuring Katsuki.

Not that the fail reel would be anything crazy - he was still number one in heroics after all - but emotionally??? In the friend-area?? High School was fucking brutal to Katsuki. His attitude didn't earn him any admirers, and the brief friendships he did earn ended/were sabotaged in other ways (which we'll explore, dw). And UA's administration did not help him shrug off his reputation as an asshole/second endeavor/the killer of AM.

I've been listening to Ryan Osterman's music for a while now having discovered his stuff on youtube and the quality of his music has gone up with every release. His minimalist acoustic sound (dubbed Ghost-Folk by Osterman himself due to his falsetto vocals that sings hauntingly over the acoustic fingering of his guitar) has scored many of my nights. With his new album Milk and Sugar you can tell Owl and Penny has poured his soul into this release and I really think it is one of the best albums I have heard this year.
