About Candy West
Born and raised in Dallas, TX, Candy West started singing at her grandfather’s church at the age of 3. Music was deeply embedded in her DNA and an intricate part of her upbringing. At the dawn of adolescence, Candy began singing with Grammy Award Winning God’s Property, a choir that is noted for the smash hit “Stomp” written and produced by Kirk Franklin. From there, Candy has traveled nationally and internationally, recorded and performed with Kirk Franklin, Patti LaBelle, MaryMary, Tamela Mann, Bishop TD Jakes, and Snarky Puppy to name a few. Candy West is also noted as a dynamic solo artist, songwriter, and mentor, who enjoys reaching the hearts of people through music.
