she was tired of having to deal with that psychopath, her mood was not very well ever since she took in her hands the case of the man who was arrested for killing the daughter of his neighbor. the case was just too strong for her to handle her anger each time she had to interrogate him, that was why even if she managed to get life imprisonment for the old man, she was still moody. and what was the best way for her to release all that anger? she went to punch the vending machine at the ground flour. 

while in the middle of kicking it after she had already punched the glass twice, she was seen by someone she didn’t want to deal with. she stopped, glared at him and said. “are you a ghost? how do you come in places without making any noise?”

it was around 8pm and candy had left her workplace around two hours ago trying to hurry to the stores and buy new underwear she needed and an extra suit for work. the coex mall was the best place she could think of for that because it had a lot of stores together. after that, going to the food court and entering one of the cafe’s there, the prosecutor came in front of an ugly sight. she saw a man whose pants weren’t worn properly, so his butt crack was visible from her spot, trying to chat with another very beautiful woman - too beautiful to be exact - and making her uncomfortable. taking a deep breath and carrying her bags along she went to the table and tapped his back. “mister butt crack this is my seat.” she said shoving him aside and after taking a seat in front of the other woman she left her shopping bag in the other empty chair. “i’m sorry i’m a little late wifey. is this idiot here annoying you? want me to chase him out for you?” she asked her looking at the other woman with an knowing expression as she nodded softly her head. she really hoped that she would play along though so the idiot would go away.

she had seen everyone so far regarding the case and she was sure that this was just some inside job. however, none so far seemed to have done it. maybe the who case was a fluke as well, the hospital director could also be doing something dark, however, she didn’t have the time to be pursuing this case a lot as her higher ups were waiting on her to tackle other cases more important. 

looking at her paralegal she gave him the order to bring in the last person she was going to ‘interrogate’. and as candy sat there looking through her papers again and the person’s profile she smiled to herself. she looked pretty in the photo but when she stepped inside, candy thought that she looked even prettier. “please have a seat.”

the day had ticked off prosecutor candy chu and her mood wasn’t the best while she was shopping. had she seen lawyer ji the haha-er dude she kind of grew up with, she would have had a nice fight with him and she would have relieved her stress, but apparently nobody wanted the services of that weirdo. nevertheless, he could have at least showed his face so she could tell him how stupid he looked, or how outdated his hair were. anything really. 

and out of miracle, her prayers were answered, for candy was already grocery shopping and spotted him from afar in the isle with the toast breads and wraps and cereal. leavng her cart in place she quickly sneaked her way to the unattended cart while he went to the neighboring isle and stole from it his ramen packs and the milk, turning her back she quickly went back to her cart making her way to the snacks isle. “i’m sure he will never even notice that i took stuff.” she mumbled before starting to randomly laugh mimicking the way he did it. immediately she stopped herself with a slap. “candy! don’t start doing it when he isn’t around! get a grip.”
