Hey everyone! Just a quick apology for how slow things have been, everyone’s in holiday season it seems, including me! Don’t worry though, won’t be long before we’re back on track. For now, a few brief notices!

The girls of the Candy Shop are going to be throwing a housewarming party! This event is in the works, but we hope to be releasing it very soon.

Who is interested in an OOC blog? I thought it might make it easier for everyone to communicate and interact out-of-character. Please tell us your thoughts on this by replying to this post, or through askbox (private)!

ACTIVITY

Since we ourselves (and the main) have not been overly active lately, we are going to be lax on activity for the next two weeks, but make sure to get your activity up so you don’t get kicked out when we do get strict again! Remember, everyone has to do their part to make the dash active.

One of our admin spots has been reopened due to one of our new admins going missing, and so we are once again accepting admin applications from anyone who is willing and able to take on the responsibility. This time, we will be accepting apps only from current Candy members. Anyone who applies to join the rp and is accepted may afterward submit an admin app.

This job requires having basic PS skills, the time to process things on the main directory at least once a day, and of course, the ability to work in a team.

♡ OPENING UPDATE!

Hey everyone!

We had a major delay as you may have noticed -- simply put, Admin Q’s internet decided it wanted to take a few days off (see why I needed more admins to help?) so I couldn’t login until the wire was fixed! Don’t worry though, I am back, and I come bearing news.

We now have two new admins onboard! We had a few great applications and we finally chose and contacted two of them to join the team. All that’s left to do now is make sure they’re equipped with all the tools and rules so they can administrate the main, and we are good to open!

Expected opening date at this time is Monday the 15th of June -- this means you have about five days to create your blog, write up your app and send it in! We’ll be waiting for it excitedly. :)

♡ OPENING IMMINENT!

Hey everyone! Finally a little update regarding our opening date for you all.

Firstly, we have 24 reservations, and even a couple of early apps! We’re so glad to see so many people returning and/or interested in Candy. Secondly, we have received a few admin applications which have all been amazing, and it’s going to be tough to choose, but nevertheless we appreciate each and every one of you for being willing to step up to this job and help us out!

I will be choosing and announcing the two new co-admins in the next day or two, once I’ve discussed it with Admin H. After that, we will be running our new staff through the daily administration processes, and making sure they’re comfortable with everything.

Once they’ve settled in, we will officially announce our opening date!

Again, thank you for your support and interest in Candy. Let’s rebuild this great family once more together!
