I just had to repost this. As a spiritual practitioner, we are accustomed to seeing ourselves in the rough toil and sultry exchange of spirit, it's what we do. Rarely are we shown as fae, beautiful shy spirit creatures that are as old as many forest, fields, etc. they live. These are creatures of fantasy and beauty, now handed over to us to wonder. Some rituals from the last couple of mornings - I’ve been feeling more private and insular over the last few days, which has caused a bit of distress. These mornings are a nice and quiet bit of space in the world before everyone else comes awake.

Good morning 🌞 When I was a child, nana and I would venture to New Orleans for herbs and materials to make gris-gris and mojo for her clients. I looked forward to these trips, candy and soda was sure to follow as a treat for being a good boy. On these trips she also taught me about the humanity within and how it empowers others. Nana always said this when we came across a beggar : : " Child, give that man a dollar, he just looked us up and down. He could be an angel or one of the Saints. See they be tryin' to test us and see into our hearts." : : This practice never truly meant anything to me until I became a spirit worker myself. I can't tell you how many times I've consulted spirit and they pointed to a time when I was confronted with someone that had far less than myself; how they decided to assist in my work bc of my charity and care for ' one of theirs' I say all this for one reason, we are all on this journey of life. Everyone has value in the eyes of spirit. Act accordingly, you never know who that down-and-out individual actually is, could be a test from the universe.
