Good morning 🌞 When I was a child, nana and I would venture to New Orleans for herbs and materials to make gris-gris and mojo for her clients. I looked forward to these trips, candy and soda was sure to follow as a treat for being a good boy. On these trips she also taught me about the humanity within and how it empowers others. Nana always said this when we came across a beggar : : " Child, give that man a dollar, he just looked us up and down. He could be an angel or one of the Saints. See they be tryin' to test us and see into our hearts." : : This practice never truly meant anything to me until I became a spirit worker myself. I can't tell you how many times I've consulted spirit and they pointed to a time when I was confronted with someone that had far less than myself; how they decided to assist in my work bc of my charity and care for ' one of theirs' I say all this for one reason, we are all on this journey of life. Everyone has value in the eyes of spirit. Act accordingly, you never know who that down-and-out individual actually is, could be a test from the universe.
