2. What is a misconception about butches/femmes you hate?

ofc the heterosexuality comparisons, its so different and not comparable. my hot take also is that even if a b/f couple did have strict roles in a typical patriarchal sense.. its fine? its not comparable to heterosexuality.

i also hate how some see femmeness not as a specific identity but, that a femme is any less-gnc woman a butch is dating. i guess it is that way for some, but, to me femme is an identity i hold that means something to me. and it seems like only obscure essays from the 90s want to talk about it that way.

38. Would you ever get married?

yesss i really want to. i think about it often. i definitely dont want to marry the wrong woman though. when i was younger i used to feel all this internal pressure that i wanted to get married by *age* or as soon as possible and other things didnt matter but. now that im slightly older and have spent a lot more time with lesbian couples young and old. um. yeah id rather get married for the first time at 40 than marry the wrong woman at 28. i really dont want to feel trapped in a relationship. and i doubt i would if i met the right woman, plus ik from personal experience that ill bounce the instant i feel constrained, soo… . but yeah i imagine my wife and i either living on a preexisting womyns land or buying our own land.

43. What is your favorite thing about butches?

umm <3 their strength <3 bravery ofc, the refusal to hide. how hot they are is a Huge one. also often such creative and interesting women.
