Found some buried treasures while plowing up the garden this morning! Cow & horse.

So the teacher today dissected the lower leg and hoof of a horse.

it was a pretty fresh leg from the 'doggers' and it still had a shoe nailed to it hoof and it stunk so freaking bad (i STILL smell of it and i didn't even touch it) and at that point i had tears in my eyes thinking about the poor horse thats leg was laying on a table in front of us being pulled apart by the teacher.

Anyways we looked at all the tendons around the Cannon bone, fetlock and pastern and we couldn't get down into the hoof itself cause well the hoof is rock hard and it would stink even more.

right now i can barely stand looking at a horse without thinking of that damn leg with a shoe still on it and thinking about how probably last week that horse was running around and now its leg was freaking in front of me :/

R.I.P to the poor Chestnut horse with a white sock that got turned into dog food.
