My '93 Cannondale R600 is so close to being finished, IT'S MAKING ME MENTAL. All that's left is chain, cabling and bartape, and with excellent training and assistance from @ralphtfgf and other super helpful folks at work, I will have finished building (from the frame up) the first geared road bike I've ever owned. 😳

Mounted my new mid-90s ControlTech stem on the R600 at work today, as well as the Shimano downtube shifter conversion guides. Having a proper stem on the frame, even such a small thing, really made the build look like it was coming together. I've never owned a geared road bike, much less BUILT ONE.
