My '93 Cannondale R600 is so close to being finished, IT'S MAKING ME MENTAL. All that's left is chain, cabling and bartape, and with excellent training and assistance from @ralphtfgf and other super helpful folks at work, I will have finished building (from the frame up) the first geared road bike I've ever owned. 😳
A milestone of the Cannondale R600 build. Was fortunate enough time acquire a vintage Shimano 600 headset to match the brake calipers and cransket. A matching ControlTech seatpost is on the way, next will be a bottom bracket and drivetrain components, which will be all modern 105. A technologically advanced drivetrain to compliment a perfectly engineered classic aluminum road machine. Ok, so the cool NOS Cinelli seatposts I got are 31.6, which is what I thought the Charge was. So I returned one, and the other has helped decide what my next track build is going to be. They didn't have any white 27.2 posts which is what I want now, but I can always buy one later.
