Also, seriously, don't grab them by the mandible horns those are sensitive and only connected to "muscles" and tissue with minimal support structures. As for upside down by the tail is just disorienting for them and freaks them out.

Crossover AU Comic for a Friend :D

So a lil explanation: Krill has their au were their version of Mellow Musician and Cackling Cannoneer had a kid, named Nessa. She is the kid you see here and somehow Doppelneer ended up basically being her entle/aunt from another universe... How that happened is either A. Reen somehow escaped their universe and ended up in Nessa's. B. Or Nessa somehow ended up in Reen`s universe

(I hope it's A. just simply because the universe Reen is from is messed up but also Nessa would be confused if they saw my Neer and Angler dating ToT.)

Safety first ya know?

Also I love experimenting with the comic paneling!!! It's been such a long time since I have drawn a comic. Anyway ...

Simple colors on characters

The black and white traditional lineart

Really been enjoying doing my linart traditionally then coloring digitally lately as you can see. Just feels nice because lineart wise I feel the most comfortable traditionally while digital I feel like I suffer because I feel I don't have as much control . Coloring these digitally is nice though because I can pull off some effects I couldn't, can color fast, and there is the plus of not ruining the original lineart somehow. Anyway just some thoughts on the art process

So why did these take so long?

I have some additional notes I'm still working on and I realized that I'm past tumblr post's image limit if I were to include them, so going to divide it up into multiple posts.

I got sidetracked into figuring out how to make my own personal fonts for notes, comics, and whatever else I may make on ibis paint x.^^" (I would share the fonts for free to use completely... but way I have it set up currently... The fonts had to be divided into two parts for each because the website I made the fonts on had a character limit. So until I figure out a way to combine them no... but for now it works for my personal needs.)
