You don't care about my grades. You don't care that I'm sad. You don't care that you rarely see me eat. You don't care if I'm not home. You don't care if I spend the night at strangers houses. You don't care that I go to raves or parties. You don't care that I skipped class. You don't care that I'm getting tattoos. You don't care that I'm getting piercings. You don't care that I'm moving across the country when I'm 18. You just don't care. BUT to show that you're substantial parents, you have to care about small, irrelevant things like sleepovers on school nights, or taking the bus when it gets dark.
