It'd take a while for Vespa to actually fall for you, let alone confess, he'd be straightforward and take you out on a date to his favorite restaurant. You'd start to notice him eyeing your food, he wouldn't admit to wanting it though. Not in a million years. If you conveniently don't finish your food, he'd take the rest, it's just not good to waste food, yknow?
Speaking of food… he's decent at cooking, as well as brewing tea, he'd brew the same kind each time, cinnamon tea, you'd smell that same aroma some mornings.
Now, would he enjoy cuddling? Yes. Anytime he's not working, yes. He enjoys spooning- being the big spoon, or alternatively, having you act as a weighted blanket. He'd operate with the same logic when it comes to PDA, he wouldn't be big on it- not while he's working anyway, if he's off the clock, that's a different story. Not anything too shameless in public though.
I think he'd be protective, but in the sense he'll start to panic internally if you go out during nighttime or you haven't been answering any calls. If you're a highly graded fixer yourself, probably he won't be as protective- for obvious reasons, but still, it lingers. . . If any of those syndicates hurt you like how the thumb did to him, he’d have hell to raise.
Petnames… Is a rough territory, if he perceives it to be the slightest bit mocking such as the ones Ezra gives him ("baby bee") then… yikes. He isn't the type to make up petnames for you.

Lucio x reader general hcs;
Lucio would be reserved in his affections **especially** when Valencina’s around. Nor would he really say “I love you,” directly but more like little compliments and praise. But! He’d do small things for you: Getting you food and water when you show the slightest hint of being thirsty or hungry, helping you train, polishing your equipment for you etc etc and definitely checking in on you.
Lucio would loveeee if you treated him the same way but also: Positive affirmations, being praised and told that he’s doing good. He would try to brush off the compliments though-
(He’s not used to it.)
As for sleeping together, Lucio would enjoy laying his head on your chest to hear your heartbeat; so he knows you’re still there, still alive and well, and that you’re not gonna be taken away from him now.
Bad news; he has a polyphasic sleep pattern. If you’re a heavy sleeper, good for you; If you’re a light sleeper… Sacrifice your sleep to cuddle the cutie or have a good night's rest and not have the cutie.
