i have a very hard time with headcanoning my f/os’ music taste (as in i literally cannot do it, in my mind they don't listen to anything lmao), and tom's no exception. but i’m learning, so i think he’d enjoy the cure and thus i believe this is a song he would listen to and think about me :3 when he’s with me he feels things he hasn’t felt in a long time and thought he’d never get to feel again…. AND despite not being slow dance paced i’ve also imagined us quietly swaying to this, after s4 finale :((((((

head in my hands, isn't this just his internal thoughts in my s1 ep8 fic…?? with the mention of hope too, taking into account his usual stance on hope (they can’t get to you if you don’t have hope he says), but then when it comes to me he IS willing to hope. and willing to give up his peace of mind (canon relationship) to be with me.....  and i love the harp playing in the background after the last chorus, it feels like the perfect sappy romantic way to audibly describe what it sounds like when he looks at me :333

6. If you had told one of them that the other would be their soulmate, what would they think?

> if it happened right after the first meeting i would've been very baffled and skeptical at first, probably cringed a bit too lmao. tom would've been surprised, too, but positively. he'd think i was way out of his league but he wouldn't admit that out loud hehe. if it happened later, like during affair era or even when we'd started a proper relationship, i would be relieved, really pleased. he would feel reassured and very glad :)

2. What are their primary love languages?

> for the more classic ones, his is either words of affirmation or acts of service! mine is either quality time or acts of service. for more personalized/specific love languages, our shared one is judging people together. my other one is cooking/sharing food and his is taking the blame (🥹).

12. What kind of nicknames do they call each other?

> my nicknames for him: thomas, tomppa, tomppeli, tompsukka, tomathan, tommy, dear, honey, rascal/scamp/scroundrel...

his nicknames for me: honey, sunshine, baby (on the VERY rare occasion). and when he’s feeling silly (which is pretty often) he’ll call me little kumquat or shrimp.

4. Do they have any pets?

> a black lab named juno!!! she’s a sweetie even if a bit of a menace at times. i’d had her for a few years before we got together but she’d be totally obsessed with tom >:333 she loves to nap on the couch with her head in his lap and she knows he’s the one she can get food scraps from if she's persistent.

elysia i have to tell you. last night i was with some people and one of them mentioned sam witwer. and the other one said "i don't know who that is" but before he could even finish his sentence i was blurting out "he's darth maul. and he's aidan waite. and he's joe neiderman. and he's mr. hyde. and he's-" and everyone was both bewildered and impressed that i knew who he was and was able to rattle off so many of his characters. but it was because of you!!! - canongf 🖤

i dont think either does it consciously, but i think levi has a sweatshirt that om!orion left in his room when they were gaming and he wears it occasionally. would die if they ever pointed it out tho
