Lena Headey was at a German con recently (where she revealed Cersei's plot was changed at the last minute, interesting) and she's got roles in 2 upcoming TV shows so attending cons clearly does not = lack of work. SDCC is going to be a horror show tho since D & D are also there and ALL of the actors are going to be forced to defend their plotlines. It's a hatchet PR job for the writers vs. a bunch of angry fans so I'm not surprised most of the main actors aren't going.
