For the whole Bob and Frozone listening to the police scanner late at night, I can kinda see Time as the Frozone. He's questioning why they're doing this while Wars is loudly cheering "Woooohoooo! FIRE! YYYYEAH!" Perhaps Time's reason for joining is because he's scared of losing Wars like Sky?
And between the two, Time seems more likely to say "I'd rather go bowling. What if we did what our wives think we're doing just to shake things up?" XD
Okay, you have to be reading my mind now I already wrote pretty much this whole scene and it’s exactly like that.
Look I’ll just let you see for yourself
“Castletown, we have a 23-56...”
“23-56, what is that? Robbery?” Warriors muttered as he leaned in towards the radio, and Time shook his head.
“Warriors, this is just sad.”
“Yeah, it is a robbery. You want to catch a robber?” Warriors asked him with a winning smile, and Time let out a heavy sigh.
“Not particularly. To tell you the truth, I’d rather go bowling,” he said, leaning back in his seat. “Captain, what if for once we actually did what our wives think we’re doing? Just to shake things up?” he said with a raised eyebrow, and Warriors grinned.
Neither of them noticed the car across the street from them, nor the woman seated inside who was silently watching them.
“What are we doing here, Wars?” Time asked, giving his brother a pleading look.
“Protecting people,” Warriors said firmly, crossing his arms.
“You need an invitation?”
Time sighed again and leaned back in his seat. “I would like one, yes. We keep sneaking out to do this, Warriors, and I admit that it’s good to help people, and I’ve missed it. But we just stop a few low-level criminals, don’t barely change anything, and then...”
He trailed off with another sigh.
“You know, Sky had trouble adjusting to civilian life too,” he said quietly, and the teasing light in Warriors’ eyes went out.
He was silent for a minute. “I know. A lot of us did.”
Time hesitated before speaking. “Look, Warriors... Sky wanted to do the same things you do, we do, wanted to keep helping people even though it wasn’t really allowed, but...” He looked down at the floor. “...you know what happened. I don’t want something to happen to you too.”
He looked up and met Warriors’ eye.
“And Sky’s not the only one either. You remember Darmani, right? Do you know when the last time you saw him was?”
Warriors shook his head. “I don’t see anyone from back then, Time. Just you, and... Sky.”
“We’re pushing our luck a bit as it is,” Time murmured, and Warriors frowned at him.
“Aw, come on,” he urged, “with an attitude like that I’m going to keep calling you old man. Yes there’s risks, but we’re helping people here, Time!“
Time frowned. “Look, it was fun the first couple times, but if we keep doing this, we’re going to get—“
“We have a report on a fire...”
The two stopped talking and swung their attention to the radio for a couple seconds, listening to the dispatcher outline the specifics of the blaze.
“A fire. We’re close!” Warriors exclaimed, a grin pulling his cheeks. “Yes!”
Time groaned, though he started the car anyways. “We’re going to get caught...”
Time pulled off the street corner, rolling his eyes while Warriors pumped his fist in the passenger seat.
