I love the idea that of all the kaiju on earth, Rodan is the one that could be a potential meal to them with his rock-ness, but he’s the one they gained feelings for. Like a predator falling in love with prey. Rodan’s previous nervousness of them eating him during their snuggle could have a new layer behind it now! Imagine the potential drama that could be stirred by this!

Rodan, finally getting over the fear that Ghidorah might eat him, and anyway he wouldn’t even make a good meal since he’s covered in rocks the way he is: “I’ve never actually seen you eat, what DO you eat?”

Ghidorah: “Uhhhh, rocks.”

Rodan: “pardon”

All this time he’d been worried that his predators would try to crack open his rock shell to get to the thin layer of flesh underneath but now he’s got a new nightmare

Ni did his best here, but there's only so much one head can do. But the detail of the wing fingers gripping around the building tighter when Godzilla attacks is such a small detail to add, but they did anyway and I love it!

Imagine being stuck to a building with your triplets and fucking Godzilla is charging at you and literally the only thing you can do is brace yourself against the kaiju equivalent of an ikea bookcase.

Like you know this thing is so flimsy that if you grip it too hard you’re gonna punch through the walls but it’s your only option. Hold on tight and wait to get steamrolled by Godzilla.

Can you imagine the terror.

I feel like yours and mine would fight each other to a draw and Ridic’s would claim leadership by default by virtue of being the only one that isn’t completely exhausted.

So the question is what Ridic’s would want to get up to.

... Honestly, based on what little I’ve seen of him, “asking for a shrubbery” doesn’t seem outside the realm of possibility.

Hi, I saw your post about the worries you have about being sidelined in the fandom. I just want to say that I really enjoy your work and how unique they are in the fandom. I love how you have Ichi fall in love instead of the usual San and the different takes that you have on the characters. I always look forward to updates, they brighten my day. I believe one should write for themselves and what they like; those that enjoy the work will stick around. Keep being unique and keep up the great work!

I know myself too well to do that. If I jump forward, I’ll never come back to write the earlier stuff. if I skip forward it’s because I wanna get to the good stuff! If I’ve already gotten to the good stuff why would I ever want to go back to the boring stuff!

God. I’m pretty sure yours would just, be constantly trying to murder Ridic’s.

Mine would constantly be bouncing between baffled and hating it, but then always side with Ridic’s in a fight out of sheer spite.
